MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES SELF-ASSESSMENT

Today I am going to upload my results of the Multiple Intelligences Test. 

But what are the Multiple Intelligences? Howard Gardner identified seven distinct intelligences. According to him, "we are all able to know the world through language, logical-mathematical analysis, spatial representation, musical thinking, the use of the body to solve problems or to make things, an understanding of other individual, and an understanding of ourselves. Where individuals differ is in the strength of these intelligences - the so-called profile of intelligences - and in the ways in which such intelligences are invoked and combined to carry out different tasks, solve diverse problems, and progress in various domains". However, Gardner's theory challenges the educational system as he considered that everyone cannot learn the same materials in the same way. 

My results in the test are: 

Thus, according to the test, my superior intelligences are intrapersonal and musical while the lowest are visual-spatial and logical-mathematics. But what does it mean that I have intrapersonal and musical intelligences? On the one hand, intrapersonal means that I am an independent learner who tends to shy away from others learners. On the other hand, musical intelligence shows sensitivity to rhythm and sound. It also shows that I love music and that I am sensitive to sounds in the environment. 

To sum up, I have to admit that this test has perfectly reflected my intelligences as I have always been a shy learner as well as an independent learner. Furthermore, I have played music (oboe and piano) since I was seven years old and I really enjoy listening and playing music.
